Guess Rules for Bullseye level

TL;DR

We’ll do all the math for you. For every match, you’ll see how many points you got — and what your friends scored too. No spreadsheets needed. 😎

You can change your favorite as much as you want — right up until the tournament kicks off. After that, it’s locked in.

Predictions for the match

Make your predictions for each match. You don’t need to do them all at once, but you must submit your pick before the match starts. Once it begins, no changes allowed!

You’ll score points for:

  • Guessing the winner
  • Guessing the score difference
  • Nailing the final result as accurately as possible

Points for correctly guessed Win

If you guess the winner (or loser) correctly, that’s a solid 5 points per match.

Points for guessing the difference

Bonus points if you’re close on the score difference — but only if you guessed the winning team right.

Points for the accuracy of the result

More bonus points for getting the actual scores close to perfect. We check how far off you were from each team’s real score. Again, this only counts if you got the winner right.

Maximum points per match

You can earn up to 50 points for a single match if you totally crush it.

Example

Let’s say you predicted 68:75 (a 7-point difference), and the real result was 73:78 (a 5-point difference).

  • You get 5 points for guessing the right winner
  • 15 points for being close on the score difference (only 2 points off)
  • 12 points total for result accuracy:
    • 5 points for the first team (off by 5)
    • 7 points for the second team (off by 3)

That’s 32 points altogether (5 + 15 + 12). Not bad!

Points assignment

Points are based on the final match result, including any overtime if it happens.
